Abstract: At present，most domestic coal mine adopts shaft development way with coal seam buried deeper and deeper in our country. Therefore, the effect of hoist building which is one of main hoisting system of the building is particularly important. Combined with the design of Mengcun coal mine main shaft hoist house, the article introduces architectural design，structure lectotype，calculation points and calculation of anti sliding and anti overturning of hoist foundation in detail, and puts forward some experiences about the problems that should be considered in the design process, to be discussed in this paper.
